The School Readiness Plan will be used to guide efforts leading to positive child outcomes. Goals & objectives will be incorporated in program planning.

Center-Based

 

Screening Tools:
Ages & Stages Questionnaire (ASQ 3) and Ages & Stages Social Emotional (ASQ SE) are used to identify potential delays.

Assessment Tool:
Desired Results Developmental Profile (DRDP) tracks children’s development over time. Data is used to guide individualization of the curriculum to support children’s learning & development.

DRDP Tools for 2025-2026

Curriculum:
Creative Curriculum is our adopted curriculum. It fosters creativity in both children & teachers.

Quality & Professional Development Tools:
Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) is an observational instrument that assesses classroom quality in preschool classrooms.

Environment Rating Scale (ERS) is an instrument that measures program quality by rating the education program, the staff development program, parent involvement & education.


Home-Based

School Readiness Binders

To ensure consistency with planning and gathering supporting school readiness documentation binders must be maintained for the classroom and per child.
